Dear fellow Malaysians across the UK and Europe,

Compliments of the season and salam from Cardiff, Wales!

The Malaysian Students Department (MSD)
in collaboration with
The Malaysian Students’ Society of Cardiff University (MSSCF)
proudly present to you
CARDIFF EUROPEAN GAMES 2009

Yet again, MSSCF extends a warm and kind invitation to each and every one of you the unprecedented Cardiff European Games 2009!

The tried and true tradition over the past few years has been to participate in internal Malaysian Society Games’ exclusively within the UK or Europe. This year however, MSSCF is taking a bold step in breaking the mould. What better way to unite ourselves with our fellow counterparts in Europe than in the spirit of sportsmanship?

It will be
the time to unite as Malaysian students,
the chance to build bridges & friendships,
the channel to showcase our talents & skills
and
the place to have a whole lot of FUN ala Malaysia!!

Important details of the Games are as follows:

28th March 2009 (Saturday)
Talybont Sports Centre, Cardiff University, Wales UK

Please do not hesitate to contact anyone of us for more information.
Arief Sobri - arip_87@yahoo.com , 07 5151 17497
Mohd. Nur Hafizuddin - mohdnurhafizuddin@yahoo.com, 07 9698 31874

Let us all come together in the spirit of sportsmanship and not let this golden opportunity pass us by. As Knute Rockne aptly put it, “One man practicing sportsmanship is far better than fifty preaching it.”

Let’s not only talk the talk but walk the walk too. So let the trainings & preparations begin and we will all meet in Cardiff at the end of March 2009!

With that, we thank you!

Kind regards on behalf of the Organising Committee,
Charlaine Adrienne Chin
President
Malaysian Students’ Society of Cardiff University 2008/09
